Those wishing to sell rummage items are invited to reserve
Sell-A-Bration will include gift basket raffles.
space at the upcoming Sell-A-Bration hosted by the Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch, set for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 22 in the west parking lot of Kennedy High School, 56th and Narragansett.

“This is basically a big, friendly community yard sale,” GRNW President Al Cacciottolo said. “We encourage everyone to rent a space and then clean out your garage, attic, basement, closets, whatever—and get together everything you no longer want and sell it here. You’ll make money and at the same time help fight crime in the neighborhood.”

Cacciottolo thanked longtime event founder and chairperson Arlene White and her GRNW volunteers “for doing such an awesome job, year after year. Sell-A-Bration is our most popular event and our most important and reliable fundraiser.”

Proceeds from 10-by-10 space rental ($25 per space) help fund the GRNW’s various crime-fighting and charitable endeavors.

If you're coming as a customer, please bring cash--both to buy rummage items and to purchase raffle tickets for the gift baskets offered by the GRNW.

The event will abide by current social distancing and mask-wearing regs, organizers have said.

Information on space reservations may be obtained by calling 773-229-1993 or sending an email to anw3@comcast.net.
